A little after 4pm the Russells pulled out of Dodge.... Or Cobourg if you want to get technical. After a pit stop for coffee and three hours of driving we have paused for dinner in Morrisburg for a little BBQ dinner. The kids are playing catch in the parking lot while Mike cooks.
Nothing says holidays like grilling at a truck stop! 🙂
Mike and I had burger patties in corn and bean salad while the kids had full-on burgers. We are trying to eat healthy this trip.... Will see how long it lasts!
Aiming for Montreal tonight. Let's see how far we get.
Baaaahhhh.... First injury (and hopefully the last!). Mackenzie was trying to kick a small ball in the parking lot and kicked the ground instead. She lost a good sized corner of her toe but is incredibly tough and laughed through the entire bandaging process. Will peel the bandage off tomorrow night or the next morning to see how it looks. She is a survivor lol.
