Quebec City - Day 2

Busy day in Quebec City.
The kids decided that they really, really wanted to go to the Auqarium Du Quebec so we started our day there.  It was a fantastic place, reasonably priced and great for all ages.  Imagine Ripley's Aquarium minus the crowds, with outdoor exhibits for sealions, polar bears and walruses as well as a kids agility area outdoors and loads of hands-on options.  Great for a couple of hours of entertainment.

Afterwards we headed downtown Quebec City and discovered their summer festival.  Very busy but family fun all around and loads of food and music.  We were all getting "hangry" so the first thing we did was eat.  We stopped at L'omelette for crepes, poutine and French onion soup.  Yummmmm!

Parks Canada had their tent set up outside downtown so the kids grabbed booklets and did an info-hunt under the Chateau Fort Lois.  Another dog-tired for their collection!  Can't wait to see them have one from each province 🙂

Mackenzie had a hair wrap put in by a street-vender and we saw a pretty funny juggler / unicycle rider before trying to get into the Citadel.  It was past their closing time and everyone was super tired so we headed back to the trailer for a little dinner and rest.
