Zippers

Zip-lining in Cornerbrook was a HUGE success.  We all soared over the gorges of Marble Mountain nine times, screaming and oogling over the beautiful scenery.  The guides were fun and kept thing moving along quickly.  In the end, it turns out that the van ride up to the top of the course was way more terrifying than the actual zip-lining.  Mike's knee and it's new gauges can attest to that... Sorry Dear.

Photos of the actual zipping will have to be added later as they are on our blue camera, not my phone.  Videos and photos galore to follow later.

Once back down to the base Mike and the kids jumped onto the spider lines and played like monkeys for two hours.  The bottom level is about core strength and balance.  Mike and Mackenzie were tall enough to do levels two and three, a much more strenuous workout.  Mackenzie was up and around like a spider, making all the adults envious and all three family members were beyone hungry and tired by the end.  They were wrecked.  A few pics below for Yas.

Afterwards they were all too tired for anything more than food and rest.

Lunch at a local takeout called C&E's was greasy and delicious and just what the doc ordered for quick recovery.  We took that down to Cook's Brook to devour and swim.  Mike and the kids found a three foot eel, huge salmon and more to swim with in the brook.

After that day we headed back to the driveway where Dragon was waiting, cooked up an easy dinner and sat to share a good long dose of Harry Potter till bedtime.  We are a few pages away from the final chapter of the final book so I don't think the kids were too happy about stopping for the night.  We'll see if they bug us to finish it in the morning!
