Botwood with Family

There is something pretty special about sleeping by the ocean.  We slept with a beautiful view of the ocean last night in family's driveway and woke after a great night sleep.

After coffee-ing ourselves we we're privilege to our own private tour of the area.  Amazing to get out of the touristy areas and off the highway.

Highlights:

Botwood museum - sub protection military base

Point Lemington - ship lookout and military lookout

Oceanview Park - search for sea critters... Found mussels and dead sea urchins

Glove's Harbour (in a place called Leading Tickle) - giant squid museum

Headed back to the trailer where the kids swam in a pool.  We grabbed some pizza and watched an amazing lightening storm pass over the ocean's bay.  Now we are trying to pry the kids off family's couch and away from their TV for bed.  It's like they have been deprived or something... Oh, wait... Lol
